Emergency Medical, Hospital & Dental
If the Member's injuries, sickness or "serious
illnesses" result in expenses shown below, We will pay up to
the limit shown on the Schedule of Benefits for the
"Necessary" medical treatment up to the "Usual"
and "Customary" charge for such expense incurred within
365 days from the date of the accident. The first expense must be
incurred within forty-eight hours of the date of the incident if for
a covered Accident, providing the initial injury was incurred during
the trip. The injury or sickness or "serious illness" must
occur while the Member is on a covered trip. |

Emergency Medical Transportation
We will cover reasonable and necessary medical services required
for evacuation to the nearest adequate medical facility as the
result of a covered "serious" illness or an injury during
a Trip. This service will be arranged only if Your doctor, in
cooperation with Our Doctor determines that adequate medical
treatment is not locally available. Service must be provided by a
provider approved by Us. Timely notification by You or a designated
person to our Administrator is required. |

Medical Repatriation
In addition to the above covered expenses, if We have previously
evacuated You to a medical hospital, and Your Doctor feels that it
is medically necessary to recuperate in a medical facility near Your
permanent place of residence, We will pay Your repatriation costs
from that facility to a hospital nearest Your usual place of
residence, within one year from Your original Trip completion date,
less refunds from Your unused transportation tickets. In no event
will We pay more than the amount listed on the Schedule of Benefits
under this benefit. This benefit must be authorized by Us. |

Repatriation of Mortal Remains
In the event of Your death while on a covered trip during the
terms of this Membership, We will pay in addition to all other
Benefits for the preparation and transportation of the Member's
remains or ashes back to the usual place of domicile. In no event,
will We pay more than the amount listed on the Schedule of Benefits
for Emergency Medical Transportation. This benefit must be
authorized by Us. |

Visitor to bedside
If a Member is hospitalized for 10 days or longer, We will pay
for an economy, round trip transportation fare for one family member

Lodging Benefit
Following a covered accident or illness to the Member, We will
pay the reasonable cost of a hotel, motel or other lodging room rate

Return of dependent children or grandchildren
If dependent children or grandchildren are traveling with a
Member, and they are left unattended as a result of a covered
Accidental Bodily Injury or Emergency Illness, We will pay for a
one-way economy airfare for their return home. A qualified attendant
will also be provided, without charge, when required. This benefit
must be authorized by Us. |

Return of vehicle
In the event of Your evacuation or repatriation, We will arrange
and pay up to the maximum limit shown on Your "welcome"
letter, to have Your personal or rental vehicle returned to Your

Baggage delay
Reimburses for the necessary emergency purchase of replacement
items, up to the limit shown on the Schedule of Benefits, when
checked Baggage is misplaced by a Common Carrier for at least 12
hours from the time of Your arrival during a covered trip. We must
receive proof of Your expenditure and proof that You filed a claim
with the Common Carrier. This does not apply to carry-on luggage nor
does it apply if Your Baggage is delayed after You reach Your usual
place of residence |

24-Hour travel accidental death & dismemberment
We will pay in one sum the principal sum shown on the Schedule of
Benefits when Injury results in any of the losses to the Member
shown below "while on a covered trip". Aircraft coverage
is limited to riding as a passenger and not as a pilot or member of
the crew in any "Scheduled Airline" aircraft.
"While on a trip" means while a Member is on a trip
between the point of Departure from their permanent residence to the
Destination (both as designated on the Member's ticket, hotel or
restaurant receipt) provided; (a) such trip is on or after the date
of policy purchase; (b) the destination is at least 120 miles from
the permanent place of residence; and (c) the trip has not exceeded
ninety (90) consecutive days.
"Scheduled Airline" (including scheduled charters) means
an airline with a license for civil scheduled air transport issued
by the country in which its aircraft are registered. Such airline
must file and publish schedules and fares for regular passenger
service between cities.
The 24-Hour Travel AD&D Description of Benefits is shown in the
Schedule below. If the Member's injury results in a loss shown below
within one year after the Accident causing the loss, we will pay

If the Member suffers more than one loss from an Accident, We will
pay only for the loss with the larger benefit. Loss of a hand or
foot means complete severance at or above the wrist or ankle joint.

Disappearance: If the Member's body is not found within 1 year of
the disappearance, forced landing, stranding, wrecking or sinking of
a conveyance in which They were an occupant, They will be presumed
dead. |
