| Day 2. | Auckland - Waitomo - Rotorua This morning you travel south by coach to the spectacular Waitomo caves, fascinating limestone formations festooned with magical glow worms. After lunch continue to the thermal heart of Rotorua. This evening's experience is traditional Maori food served "Hangi" style and enjoy a concert party. (BLD) | |
| Day 3. | Rotorua - Farm Stay Hospitality Feature Enjoy the best Rotorua has to offer today including Whakarawarewa Thermal Reserve and Maori Arts and Crafts Institute, Government Gardens, Paradise Valley Springs, and the Agrodome Farm Show. This afternoon you will be met at your hotel by your Farm stay hosts who will take you to their nearby farm. Experience the farm operation first hand and this evening enjoy some traditional "Kiwi" hospitality as you dine with your hosts. (D) | |
| Day 4. | Rotorua - Queenstown Your farm hosts will return you to the airport for your afternoon flight via Christchurch to Queenstown, New Zealand's international resort in the South Island. On arrival in Queenstown you will be met and transferred to your hotel. (B) | |
| Day 5. | Queenstown Today there are numerous optional activities from which to choose. A tranquil cruise on the lake, or a breathtaking jet boat ride on the nearby Shotover River, visit nearby Arrowtown or take a full day excursion to Milford Sound. (B) | |
| Day 6. | Queenstown - Christchurch An afternoon flight over the Southern Alps and Canterbury Plain soon has you in Christchurch, where you will be transferred to your hotel. (B) | |
| Day 7. | Christchurch - Auckland This morning your sightseeing tour will highlight why Christchurch is often called the most "English" city outside England. See the gracious Gothic Cathedral and the many parks and gardens on the banks of the river Avon. Time for some afternoon shopping, before you fly north to Auckland for your final evening in New Zealand. (B) | |
| Day 8. | Departure. Begin the day with a sightseeing tour of the "City of Sails", the home of the Americas Cup. Cross the harbour bridge, see the city centre and visit the Auckland Museum which houses one of the most significant collections of Maori artifacts in the world. The tour concludes around midday. This afternoon transfer to the airport for your departure flight. (B) | |
